Life in all its fullness is
Mother Nature obeyed
Weston A. Price

Healthy Traditions Network is the Metro Detroit chapter of the Weston A Price Foundation.

We are a unique, nonprofit organization connecting like-minded people and communities to farms and other sources dedicated to providing nutrient-dense foods for our tables. With the belief that we are responsible for building good health – especially that of our children – the network strives to provide opportunities to learn about and experience foods that sustain and uplift us.

The intention of this network is to support those trying to create better health through education and by improving dietary practices according to the ancient wisdom of traditional cultures as shown by the research of Weston Price and written about in Sally Fallon’s Nourishing Traditions cookbook. As a local chapter of the Weston A. Price Foundation, the Network promotes the work of the Foundation at the local level.

You can learn how to prepare delicious meals loaded with nutrition to give your body all it needs to prevent illness and disease and enjoy a higher quality of life. By coming together, we can begin to reverse the societal trend of physical degeneration and build a healthier generation for today and the future. Many opportunities are

available to help you transition your dietary habits. The Network hosts quarterly social events as well as educational lectures and workshops.

Join us for the journey back to the foods that make sense for your body – and away from those promoted by the multi-billion dollar food industry as “healthy” foods that actually diminish your health. Together we can walk this path, one step at a time, making positive adjustments we can live with as we improve the quality of our lives.

Journalist, chef, nutrition researcher, homemaker and community activist, Sally Fallon is the author of Nourishing Traditions: The Cookbook that Challenges Politically Correct Nutrition and the Diet Dictocrats. This well-researched, thought-provoking guide to traditional foods contains a startling message: Animal fats and cholesterol are not villains but vital factors
in the diet, necessary for normal
growth, proper function of the brain
and nervous system, protection from
disease and optimum energy levels.
